Rules & Policies

CLIENT  + ESTABLISHMENT POLICIES 

1. GENERAL AGREEMENT 
You are acknowledging that you are booking a service/services with the CCBeautymark Collective. This includes, but is not limited to:
•CCBeautymark
•CCBeautymark Bridal
•CCBeautymark Creative Corner Salon

The CCBeautymark Collective is committed to providing a clean and sanitary environment, using properly disinfected tools and disposable items when applicable, in compliance with health and safety standards.



2. POLICIES & TERMS OF SERVICE 
•You have voluntarily selected CCBeautymark services and agree to all terms listed herein.
•You release Chelsea Carreira-Smith and all affiliated businesses and associates from any and all legal claims, liabilities, or obligations arising from services rendered.
•You understand that policies may change at any time and You are responsible for reviewing updates posted here. 



3. HEALTH INTAKE & DISCLOSURE 
•You acknowledge that You will receive a health form which includes questions about my current and past health history to ensure my safety during treatment(s). Y confirm that all information provided will be accurate and completed to the best of my knowledge.
•You understand that inaccurate or withheld information may result in adverse results.
•You acknowledge that CCBeautymark adheres to all infection control guidelines but cannot guarantee against allergic reactions or unforeseen conditions.
•Services may be refused or rescheduled if contraindications are present. Contraindications vary but some examples include (but are not limited to) cold sores, sunburns, rashes, possibility of eye infection(s), sicknesses/flus or suspicious and unknown lesions. 
•If you are prone to cold sores (HSV breakouts) you are aware that certain services may trigger a flare up.
HSV can be spread from my own lip area to my eyes, nose or any other part of my body, with this knowledge, You are also aware that if you have an active breakout you are to reschedule your appointment to avoid any transmission to other parts of my face/body and for safety of technician. It is possible this can happen if the cold sore is in very early stages and undetectable at time of treatment as a cold sore by technician. 
•All information about your health and wellness will remain confidential. 



4. SERVICE DISCLOSURE & RISKS
You understand and accept the following:
•Certain services (e.g., dermaplaning, microdermabrasion, waxing, chemical peels, lash lfits and more) may result in temporary marks, minor cuts, scratches, eye and/or skin irritation, bruising, skin lifting or burns, dryness and peeling
•Lash lifts, brow laminations, and various cosmetic products (e.g., red pigments, tints, glitters, henna) are not FDA-approved for use near the eyes. If you are set on having any of these types of items used during your service, you are using at your own risk and releasing CCBeautymark of any and all legal action.
•Common adverse effects may include, but are not limited to breakouts/purging, redness/inflammation, slight swelling or puffiness, sensitivity, dry areas.
•Less common adverse effects may include, but are not limited to hyper/hypopigmentation, HSV flare-ups if you have the dormant virus or are prone to having flare ups.
•Results may vary. Not all services are suitable for every skin type or condition.
•You agree that you are receiving services with full knowledge of the risks involved and release CCBeautymark from liability.
•Being as honest as possible on the health from can help avoid a lot of potential issues from taking place. Medications, current skincare products/routines and daily activities all play a roll in how your skin/body will react to different products and services.
•Pricing may vary from original booking cost depending on add-ons or unforeseen changes.

Important Note: It is impossible for your technician to know exactly how your skin will tolerate each individual service or treatment during or after. Many internal bodily and external environmental and personal factors are to be taken into account. With that, you may also have a very different result then another person. There is no guarantee that any one service will provide the results it is supposed to. No service will show any major results in only one or even a few sessions. Consistency is an important factor in helping to achieve all skin goals. 




5. MARKETING & MEDIA
You consent to the use of photos/videos taken during services for promotional and marketing purposes. If you refuse this, it is your obligation to inform at time of signing this document or upon appointment. You agree that you will also be automatically enrolled in email marketing for events and promos, with the ability to unsubscribe at any time. 



6. PAYMENT, DEPOSITS & REFUNDS
•Deposits may be required for up to 50% of the service amount on select services. 
•All payments, including deposits as well as any partial installments are non-refundable and non-transferable.
•Full payment may be required prior to services depending on the service type or client history.
•Bridal packages, lessons, and other multi-payment services follow this same non-refundable policy for each installment. Intentions misrepresentation of a service type involving bridal services is taken serious at CCBeautymark. Please see more on this in the bridal section of the policies. 



7. CANCELLATIONS, RESCHEDULING & NO-SHOWS
•A 48-hour cancellation policy is in effect. Deposits and partial installments are non-refundable at any time. If you can not make your scheduled appointment, this policy allows you to reschedule your appointment within 30 calendar days without any additional fees. Each client is allowed three (3)  appointment moves per calendar year. 
•Any rescheduling requests made after the 48 hour mark will forfeit any pre-payments/deposits, which cannot be transferred to a future booking.
•Same-day cancellations and no-shows may be charged up to 100% of the full service price or fee remaining after deposit amount, if deposit was paid.
•The card on file will be ran automatically. If charge fails, your account will remain in the deficit and collect interest until it is paid off to book another service. 
•Interest is at 1.5% per month. 
•At a certain dollar amount, CCBeautymark reserves to right to transfer this amount over to a collections agency OR settle the charges through the court system. 
•Repeat violations may result in booking restrictions or payment-in-full requirements before booking.
•Note: All bridal contracts have separate cancellation policies. Please view your individual contract for more details. More on bridal bookings below. 



8. CREDIT CARD AUTHORIZATION
•A valid credit card is required to book any appointment.
•The card on file will be used for no-show fees, cancellation fees, or remaining balance fees.
•Credit card processing fees apply on all card transactions (up to 3.5% per transaction)
•All deposits must be paid via bank or credit card.
•You may pay with cash or alternative payment at the appointment for the remaining balance.



9. CONDUCT & BEHAVIOR
•CCBeautymark reserves the right to refuse service for any  reason.
•Clients must treat all staff and other clients with respect.
•Harassment, threats, or inappropriate behavior will result in immediate service termination, removal from the premises, and payments in full will be charged to the card on file. Along with that, legal action may be taken depending on offense. 



10. APPOINTMENT POLICIES 

•CCBeautymark is by appointment only. Walk-ins may be accepted only if there is availability. There are no guarantees regarding walk-in availability.

​•Booking must be confirmed through the booking agent link sent for the appointment to be legitimate. Requests must be approved by Chelsea and you will receive a confirmation notification from the booking agent after approval. Appointment is not legitimate until all these steps are taken. For returning guests, who have an active card on file, Chelsea may manually book your next appointment, please wait for the confirmation text to ensure this is a secured appointment. If you do not receive this, please contact Chelsea directly ASAP. 

•All clients must sign their client agreement and fill out their intake/health form prior to their appointment. If client refuses to do this, the booking will be voided and this may result in loss of deposit or counted as a day of no show fee and will be charged 100% of the appointment balance/remaining balance. 

​•Unexpected guests are not permitted unless prior approval has been given by the service provider.

•CCBeautymark, Chelsea, and all service providers are not liable for any injuries sustained while on the premises. This includes, but is not limited to, injuries resulting from falls, tripping, contact with equipment or tools, exposure to chemicals, or other potential hazards within the salon. By entering the premises, all individuals acknowledge and accept responsibility for their personal safety and agree to exercise caution at all times.

•If any damage to any part of the salon or items in salon will be reconciled financially by the client. This includes but is not limited to, tool, equipment, furniture, floor, decor, any/all damage etc. Please respect our space. 

TARDINESS + FEES:

•Please arrive on time for your appointment to ensure you receive the full scheduled service.
•No-Show Policy: Clients who arrive 15+ minutes late will be marked as a no-show, charged the full service amount, and the appointment will be canceled.
•Late Arrival (8+ Minutes): If you anticipate being 8 minutes or more late, you must contact me directly. A late fee will apply, or your appointment may be shortened or canceled depending on the service and the day’s schedule.
•Late Fee Structure: Late fees begin at $5 at the 5-minute mark, with $1 added for every additional minute.
•Example: For a 10:00 AM makeup appointment:
•Arrival at 10:05 AM = $5 late fee
•Arrival at 10:10 AM = $10 late fee
•Facials: Appointment time begins at the scheduled time, not arrival. That means if you are late, the appointment will still end as originally schedule.

​•Outstanding balances must be cleared before future bookings. A 1.5% monthly interest will be applied to unpaid balances before client may return or book again. 

​​CHILDREN: ​
•Children are only allowed in the salon when accompanied and supervised by a legal guardian at all times.
•Children must remain seated and calm throughout the appointment. Running, jumping, playing, or tampering with tools, equipment, or furniture is strictly prohibited.
•If a child needs to eat, this must take place in the designated backroom area before the service begins. The guardian is responsible for supervising the child during this time, this may cut into appointment and services, so please feed your children prior to arriving to your appointment.
•If a child becomes disruptive, destructive, or poses a safety risk to themselves or others, you may be asked to leave and reschedule your appointment when you can find proper childcare. Disruptive children will not be allowed back into the salon. 
•Any damages will be reconciled financially by the guardian or individual who brought the child into the facility. This includes but is not limited to, tool, equipment, furniture, floor, decor, any/all damage etc. 

​•​CCBeautymark, Chelsea, and all service providers are not liable for any injuries sustained by children while on the premises. This includes, but is not limited to, injuries resulting from falls, tripping, running into objects, contact with hot tools, or exposure to chemicals and other equipment, etc. Children must be supervised at all times by a parent or guardian. The parent or guardian is solely responsible for ensuring the child’s safety and preventing access to any potentially hazardous situations.




11. COUPONS & DISCOUNTS
•Coupons are all single-use, must be surrendered at the appointment, and cannot be combined with other promos, coupons discounts, unpaid certificates such as donation certificates or on top of sales unless otherwise specified.
•Coupons, unpaid certifications and promo/sales are not valid for bridal packages.



12. LOYALTY PROGRAM
•Loyalty cards must be present at each visit for stamp credit.
•CCBeautymark is not responsible for lost/damaged cards.
•Cards must be surrendered to redeem reward.
•Client may only have up to 3 loyalty cards at one time
•Cards may not be combined. Only one redeemed at a time.



13. REFERRAL PROGRAM 
•Refer a friend and receive 20% off for each successful referral.
•Discount must be used within 60 days and cannot be combined together or applied to bridal packages.
•Up to 3 open discounts at a time.
•Referral must mention your name at booking.



14. FLASH SALES
•Flash sales are final sale, non-transferable, and cannot be rescheduled or refunded.
•Payment is due in full at the time of booking.



15. MINORS (UNDER 18)
•Clients under 18 require a legal guardian’s signature and presence during services.
•Guardians must also review and consent to health and safety policies.
•Clients under 18 may not receive the added massage nor change out during facial appointments.



16. BRIDAL BOOKING POLICIES ​
•Bridal packages are customized and subject to a separate contractual agreement.
•A generic bridal contract example is available for preview upon request. 

*Important notice: Bridal services must be accurately disclosed at the time of booking. Any appointment booked under an incorrect service type will be adjusted to the appropriate pricing on the day of service. Intentional misrepresentation may result in additional fees and, if necessary, escalation through appropriate legal channels.
